: you don't post much anymore.

We never did post in large volume. I’ll probably go back and publish a lot of submissions that I never did before, though.

: Why a blog about blood? o:

shut up

: is it a bad sign if this blog makes me hungry

fuck if I know, I ain’t no shrink.

: I understand the rationale behind not putting up photos of "self-mutilation" and won't argue that. I wanted to ask, though - how do you determine what is or isn't "self-mutilation"? Is it an I-know-it-when-I-see-it kinda thing? Because I'm imagining a lot of gray areas. For example, I do needle play and blood play (consensually, in a way I consider fairly physically safe and emotionally healthy), and that sometimes leaves scars, which I am ok with. Is that self-mutilation? How do you decide?

This is Chey answering, not Jackson, so if you gotta shoot the messenger you know who.

I’m not concerned with what you do. I have no qualms with self mutilation and support anyone’s choice to relieve pressure however they see fit as long as they are not harming other people. My concern is simply not being overly triggering, which is how I try to judge what is and isn’t too much like self mutilation.

: theme?

The theme is one that I made! Sorry, you’re the first person to ask! You can access it here: http://looksweet-themes.tumblr.com/post/8768651002 but I’m afraid to say that most of the fonts will be different as I did it all specifically for FYBlood. The version of the theme available to the public (kind of, I usually only link when asked) is a little different, but still has the two side bars, a center bar, an optional maximized background, and customizable permalinks with a space to upload a permalink image and to place it on the side or underneath, as well as a few other random bits, but it won’t look QUITE the same ):

IF you were just interested in the fonts, the main body font is a standard google webfont, which you can integrate into your blog using the instructions on their website (http://google.com/webfonts)

If you’re on chrome, the heading font will look a little different: That font is Teutonic (http://www.dafont.com/teutonic.font
